Quote for the evening...

'Fully immersing yourself in some fucking fantastic raunch, does wonders for clearing the head (and helps ones body feel pretty darn fine too), I find.'

Intangible – Prologue (erotica)

She didn’t even really know him, had only met him, briefly, before, but she could feel him.

She could feel it in her cunt, and radiating through the rest of her body, a tightening, an excitement, a liquid heat.

It was illogical, irrational, she’d been given no reason to believe they were going to fuck, but it was undeniable, her body knew, what her mind did not yet.

Word of the day...perfect for winter...

Psychrocism - 'refers to those who are aroused by either being cold themselves or by watching someone who is cold....Some people have masturbated by putting a towel in the freezer and then laying it on their genitals and others have used icicles, ice packing or frozen food. One Californian man has reported that on several occasions after swimming in the ocean for 30 minutes during the winter he would obtain an erection that lasted two to three hours.'

- Brenda Love, Encyclopedia of unusual sex practices, 1998.

Decisions (poetry)

Let’s
Seize the day
Run with the bulls
Throw down the gauntlet
Grab the pot of gold
Grasp the brass ring
Break down the barriers
Leap tall buildings in a single bound
Stir the pot

Or should we?
Stop the speeding train
Be humble in defeat
Accept our fate
Play the damsel in distress
Believe whatever will be will be
Stay rooted to the spot
Not bite the poison apple
Instead?

Light (poetry)

I drink wine
A lot.
I smoke
A lot.
I meditate
In my courtyard
A lot.
Bad dreams
At first
Then better ones come
As I sit with Buddha
In my garden
Better thoughts come too
Slowly
Then the epiphany
I see the moon clearly
I see the stars clearly
I still drink wine
Not as much
I still smoke
Just as much
I meditate more
And my dreams become clear

- Judi Reed, 2013

Weight (poetry)

Heavy dank fog
Encasing
A scarred heart
Dark and ominous
Hands grasp out for something tangible
I see it
I reach for it
A voice tells me to.
But when my fingers curl
There is only the moisture
Of tears
To grasp
I’m left,
with a fist
My fingers touching nothing
But the palm of my hand
Encircling particles
Of someone else’s
Fantasies…
And my own…
Lost.

Quote for the night...

'Sometimes curling up in the foetal position and having a good cry is the best, and only thing, left to do.'

- Judi Reed, 2013
